As ASB International Certification Surveillance Inspection and Training Services Ltd. Şti. (“ASB Certification” or “Company”), we prioritize the security and confidentiality of your personal data with utmost care and sensitivity. With this awareness, in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”), your personal data will be processed in the manner and within the limits prescribed by the relevant legal regulations, as defined in the Law, and will be registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry Office under registration number 678411, and with the tax identification number 0860452573, and will be processed by ASB Certification, which is registered at the address “Tatlısu Mah. Akif İnan Sok. Sevim Residence No: 16 Kat:6 D: 13 Ümraniye/İSTANBUL”.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your collected personal data may be processed for the purposes listed below, which are related to your disclosure of personal data to us, within the scope of the processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698:

Implementation of accreditation and ministry authorization processes
Carrying out our company's commercial activities, ensuring the legal and commercial security of our company and the private and legal persons with whom we have business relations, and determining and implementing our company's commercial and business strategies,
Technical management of our company's websites,
Customer management and complaint follow-up,
Carrying out necessary work by our business units to enable you to benefit from the products and services offered by our company,
Planning and executing sales, marketing, and after-sales processes of products and/or services,
Providing information about the content of products and services,
Sending commercial electronic communications in accordance with legal regulations and with prior consent,

Conducting surveillance and audit services in accordance with our company's purpose,
Providing certification services to the party receiving the service.

To whom and for what purposes processed personal data may be transferred

Within the scope of the processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, your personal data collected by our company may be shared with our business partners (only anonymously), our employees (only anonymously), legally authorized public institutions, private persons, and other relevant persons, when necessary, for the purposes detailed above.

Method and Legal Basis of Data Collection

Your personal data is collected and processed by our company in accordance with the law and good faith, through verbal, written, and/or electronic notifications clearly and understandably provided to data owners, and where necessary, with their explicit consent, within the scope of the legitimate purposes explicitly stated above, in connection with and limited to these purposes, and in accordance with the principle of proportionality.

We declare that your personal data will not be processed outside the purposes specified in this information statement, will not be transferred to third parties within or outside the country, and will not be stored beyond the necessary period.

Rights of Data Owners under the Law

You may, at any time, apply to our company ASB Certification as the data controller to:

Learn whether your personal data has been processed,
Request information regarding processed personal data,
Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with this purpose,
Know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
Request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions foreseen in Article 7 of the Law,
Request that the operations performed in accordance with Article 11, paragraphs (d) and (e), be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
Object to the analysis of your processed data solely through automated systems if it results in a negative outcome for you,
Request compensation for damages if you suffer harm due to unlawful processing of your personal data,

You can exercise your rights by submitting a request that includes a clear and understandable explanation of the right you wish to exercise, related to your personal data, and your identity. If you are acting on behalf of someone else, you will need to present a notarized power of attorney with special authority for this purpose.

In your applications, it is mandatory to include your name-surname, signature, Turkish ID number, residence or workplace address, e-mail address, phone and fax numbers, and the subject of your request, in accordance with the “Communiqué on Procedures and Principles Regarding Data Owner Applications.” Applications lacking these elements may be rejected by ASB Certification. You can send your requests regarding your rights and the application of the Law to our company via notarized mail, registered mail with return receipt, personal application, or electronically with your mobile signature / secure electronic signature to our company's “asbbelgelendirme@hs01.kep.tr” KEP address. As data owners, when you submit your requests to our company, we will respond as soon as possible and within thirty days free of charge, depending on the nature of the request. If the process requires an additional fee, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Authority will be charged.

Retention Period of Data Collected by Our Company

Your personal data will be stored for the period specified in relevant legal regulations, or if no period is specified, in accordance with our company's practices and commercial customs, or for the duration necessary for the purposes of processing mentioned above, after which they will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with Article 7 of the Law.
