The commitments including their approaches to confidentiality, impartiality, and independence as determined by the ASB Partners Board in its meeting dated 21.03.2017 are provided below:
ASB;
- ASB senior officials and personnel will work free from any commercial, financial, and other pressures that could influence the results of certification activities,
- System certification activities will be carried out independently of all relevant parties involved in the subject,
- ASB employees and individuals acting on their behalf will not provide consultancy services to certified organizations,
- ASB and its employees will not engage in any activities that conflict with the independence of system certification activities, and they understand how important this is,
- All employees will avoid any behavior that could harm the reputation and credibility of organizations seeking certification and organizations with which ASB has commercial relations,
- Within the scope of certification and audit activities, non-objective comments and evaluations will not be made, and any behavior that could negatively affect organizations will be avoided; bias and intolerance will not be tolerated, and behavior will be impartial and independent,
- The Committees involved in certification applications (Certification Committee, Impartiality Protection Committee, Objection and Complaint Evaluation Committee, Appointment Committee, Planning Committee) will operate independently of any commercial, financial, and other pressures that could influence their decisions,
- No organization will be informed for the purpose of providing certification services,
- All relevant parties will have access to the provided system certification services, unnecessary financial burdens or other conditions will not be imposed, and all rules and documents that must be followed will be applied without discrimination,
- At all levels of their organization, including Committees and individuals acting on their behalf, the confidentiality of information obtained during certification activities will be protected by complying with the existing accreditation laws, regulations, and notifications,
- Information about a specific product or certified organization will not be disclosed to third parties without the written consent of the relevant organization,
- If such information is disclosed to third parties as required by law, regulations, and notifications, the certified organization will be informed about this information in accordance with the permissions granted in the relevant laws, regulations, and notifications,
- All kinds of information, documents, and records belonging to organizations will be kept confidential and secure,
- System certification services will only be valid within the borders of Turkey,
- If proven damages arise from their actions, necessary measures will be taken to address them,
- The financial resources necessary for operating the certification system will be continuously maintained and supported by the personal assets of the company partners, ensuring its sustainability,
- Organizations owned by or involved with ASB will not be certified,
- Benefiting from services will not depend on the size of the applying organization, membership in any association (organization), or group, or the number of certified organizations,
- No privileges will be granted to associations, societies, and civil society organizations in which the owners are members,
- Organizations will be accurately informed in accordance with other commitments and accreditation rules, and services will be provided quickly, independently, and impartially,
- It is declared and committed that a Conflict of Interest Risk Analysis regarding impartiality has been conducted in activities carried out by ASB, and this analysis will be reviewed when necessary.
