ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 Transition Announcement

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has set the transition period for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 to 3 years from the date the standard was published. Therefore, our customers who are certified by ASB must complete their transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 by no later than 14.09.2018. If the transition is not made, from 14.09.2018 onwards, the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certificates will no longer be valid.
Regarding these transitions, the transition plan we foresee as ASB is as follows:

I-) Organizations Applying for Certification for the First Time:
Certification applications from organizations applying for the first time will be accepted according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 starting from 02.01.2017.

II-) Existing Organizations Certified by ASB: 
All organizations certified by ASB will transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 by 14.09.2018. However, certified organizations must send their transition plan to ASB by no later than 02.01.2017. ASB; considering the transition plans submitted by our certified organizations starting from 02.01.2017, will facilitate the transition during the next suitable audit (1st surveillance, 2nd surveillance, certificate renewal audit, etc.). Corrective actions will be initiated for any non-conformities identified during the transition audit, and their closure within the specified timeframe will be requested. Non-conformities not closed within the timeframe will result in the suspension of the organization's certificate.
